COMMUNITY EXPOSURE: MATI

Last Wednesday, the whole third year Mass Comm students went to my hometown, Mati City, for the community exposure of our Advance Journalism subject. I got the chance to be back in the place where I truly belong. But before that, I woke up early at around 3 AM to make sure I can pack all the necessary things for the 3 hr trip and for our advertisements. I bought my pink Jansport backpack and my Nikon bag for the DSLR. Way to go Mati City! So here are some of the photos:

We were asked to wear our PRESS shirt.

My bus seatmate. Hello there, Janna Sim!

What a wonderful view from my window.

Amazing! Sleeping Dinosaur Island.

There's a sleeping dinosaur at my back.

                                                        The Provincial Capitol of Mati!

Behind the scenes of our F21 inspired photoshoot.

The Mala-Mala Dance Theater Ensemble surprised us with a welcoming cultural dance.

I bought two of these cute bracelets for my friends. :)

However, I was a bit disappointed for not having the chance to see my family. As I lay down my bag, I just cried really hard because I miss them so bad. I need to see them! Argghhh!!! So much for that, it was a day worth remembering. I ended the day with a ray of smile in my face. :)
